Vintage Ultrablitz Jet Photographic Flash

This Deutsche Elektronik GmgH Ultrablitz Jet flash unit would make a great addition to any vintage photography aficionado's collection!
It was dropped off in a box of old camera equipment and was a display piece for my camera collection for several years. Now I need room for other cameras and have decided to part with it.
I never tried to use it, so I do not know if it will still work. It is possible someone who knows what they're doing could refurbish it.
Condition is used. Some of the metal bits have some surface rust and a deteriorating foam pad inside has started to crumble, adding a dust layer. Again, something that could be cleaned and fixed up by someone, or just keep it on a shelf as a conversation piece.
I am not sure of the age, but I am guessing 1960s? The stamp on the bottom is Allied Impex Corp., which was an American distributor of German and Japanese photo equipment started in 1956.
